About
Who we are.
BUN is a fictional Model UN, roleplayed entirely by our members across two platforms and recorded on a third.
Welcome
to the Baris' United Nations, an international roleplay community on Roblox. Our community brings together ro-nations, corporations, and every sector imaginable, all roleplaying within a unified community.
While grounded in realism, the community allows flexibility in national identity and development, provided all nations maintain logical consistency and align with the community's standards. Members are expected to uphold maturity, cooperation, and creativity in all interactions.
We exist to give our members a place to practice diplomacy, debate, and international roleplay in a structured, ongoing world — not a one-off session, but a standing Assembly with real committees, real resolutions, and a real seat for every delegation.
How it works
Roblox
Where the Assembly meets. Sessions and committee floor debates are roleplayed live inside our Roblox experience.
Discord
Where the Assembly organizes. Applications, committee chatter, and day-to-day diplomacy happen across our server.
Website
Where the Assembly keeps its record. Organs, resolutions, and member states are documented here, official and citable.
Community Rules
To maintain a high-quality community, all members are expected to comply with the rules of the community. Administrative decisions must be respected at all times.
Part I
- All Members of the Community must be verified to ensure that individuals who are using botted accounts are removed from the server — this is done in order to preserve Server Security. Please ensure you are verified!
- Individuals within the Community may receive warns from time to time if they are unaware of potential rule breaches, please use this opportunity to contact the appeals team for consultation; do not complain about it in the main server, or we may ignore your request.
- False accusations that hinder the reputation of an individual, group or establishment are to be sent through Group Leadership for evaluation.
Part II
- Toxicity within the Community is to be kept to a minimum, individuals who continue to be toxic after being warned will be muted for a period of 4 hours.
- Usage of extreme and excessive language is to be kept at a minimum, please be aware that individuals may not be comfortable with certain words, phrases or alternative terminology. We will moderate this and ensure that it does not occur — if we do in fact miss something, please inform us in our support server. (Do keep in mind that this only relates to this server and its subsidiaries, DMs are not to be considered and are to be dealt with by Discord independently.)
- Sending/Linking any harmful material such as viruses, IP grabbers or malware to the server or the DMs of a member of the server will result in an immediate and permanent ban from our Community — we will not tolerate such behaviour and will not grant second chances.
Part III
- Posting NSFW Content in any channels will result in an immediate ban from the server, this can be appealed under the pretence it does not happen again. Consistent spamming of NSFW content will not see reviewal.
- Discrimination of any kind, racism, sexism or any form of derogatory phobia will not be tolerated within the Server — please ensure that this is upheld and that any members of the Community who are targeted should contact a member of the Administration as soon as possible to resolve the conflict.
- Advertising communities that do not fit with the genre of Ro-Nations will not be acceptable — the only limitations to this are Military Industries, Businesses and so forth.
- Threats of DDOS, death or malicious acts will result in an immediate ban, however — if the situation is misinterpreted, we will review your case.
International Rules
Part I: Alliances
- Alliances are a core component of the Baris' United Nations and must be formed with clear intent and mutual benefit. Alliances must be established on a valid and logical foundation, such as mutual defense against shared threats, economic cooperation, political or ideological alignment, or strategic/military collaboration.
- Member nations within an alliance should ideally be geographically connected or within the same region, and capable of realistically supporting one another logistically and militarily.
- Alliances should remain balanced and limited in size. Excessively large alliances may be restricted to prevent power imbalance. A recommended alliance size is 3–4 nations unless otherwise approved. Alliance sizes may vary depending on the overall count of Nations.
- To be officially recognized, alliances must be announced in the designated international channel, all participating nations must confirm involvement, and an administrator must be notified for validation.
Part II: International Feeds
- Nations and organizations must publish at least one press feed every week. Press feeds must contain a minimum of two paragraphs. They should be written in a professional tone, such as a government bulletin or news report.
- If a feed is going to contain an image, make sure it is relatable with the context and not a real life image.
- All actions must follow basic logic and realism. Smaller or underdeveloped nations should not engage in unrealistic conflicts with global powers or unrealistic mega projects.
- Nations may not declare war on countries they cannot realistically reach. Naval invasions require at least one naval engagement prior to land conflict.
- Usage is strictly controlled and handled on a case-by-case basis by staff. Nuclear Weapons may not be used to avoid roleplay strands. Nuclear Weapon usage must be approved by staff.
Part III: Technology and Warfare
- All military equipment must be period-appropriate. Unrealistic gear outside the community setting is not permitted. Comparatively old equipment can be used depending on the economy of the nation.
- The use of outside groups (PMCs, clans, mercenaries, etc.) is strictly prohibited in all community conflicts. Blacklisted individuals/groups are strictly prohibited.
- All official battles, raids, or scrimmages must have at least one staff member present. Staff must have administrative control when applicable. All staff decisions are final, including battle outcomes.
- For volunteers: members from other nations may volunteer for either side. Volunteer limits apply (approximately 3 per side).
Every member contributes to the overall experience, and adherence to these guidelines ensures a fair, immersive, and enjoyable environment for all participants.
